Rotary plate or turntable for presentation of models / Drehscheibe für die Präsentation von Modellen

I just thought about the presentation of my models and terrain projects. So i tried to built it myself. I used some Lego technique servos and bits in combination with a plate of a sander that u can put on your drill. The big advantage of that sander plate is the ball bearing which give the structure a much more steady movement. So i also tried out to film it but I think that i have to work on that cause i do not find the right codec for a nice HD solution. But all in all that could be the right steps in the right direction cause u can see the model from all angles and perspectives.

German: Hier sieht man meine neusten Experimente mit meiner neuen selbstgebauten Drehscheibe. Eine Mischung aus Lego Technik und einer Schleifscheibe, die man ursprünglich auf eine Bohrmaschine spannen konnte und noch kann. ;-) Die Scheibe hat ein Kugellager und der Servo plus Übersetzung bringt die Geschwindigkeit für die Drehung. Am Video und der Auflösung muss noch gefeilt werden, aber insgesamt bin ich schon ganz zufrieden. Endlich mal ein Modell schnell von allen Seiten zeigen zu können.
